--Killing Floor Blues Band--
The Killing Floor Blues Band takes its name from a Howlin Wolf song and its this sound that the band pays homage to, Chicago electric blues of the 50's and 60's.

Consisting of Ben Abel on guitar and vocals and Gary McIntosh behind the drum kit, the band started in December of 2011and has played at venues that include the Railway Club and the Princeton Pub. Experienced musician Mike Chess joined the band as their full time bass player in January of 2014.

Songs the band performs include Roadrunner (Bo Diddley), Bright Lights Big City (Jimmy Reed) Sweet Home Chicago/All Your Love (Magic Sam Maghett) as well as All Your Love/I Can't Quit You Baby (Otis Rush) and Good Morning Little School Girl (Junior Wells).

This is a great band that pays tribute to some of the finest music of the 20th century. Available for small and large gigs as well as corporate events and parties, it promises high energy music that harkens back to a time when rock and roll was just getting started and the blues was still king.
