A stellar lineup of international and national accordion artists features Socalled (Montreal), Miss Murgatroid (Portland), Lonesome Leash (New Orleans/Los Angeles) and Ol¹ Crocodile (France/Montreal ) alongside Vancouver heavies including Geoff Berner and Wintermitts. The incredible array of squeezebox-centric bands include hip-hop, klezmer, folk, indie rock, blue-grass, punk, avant-garde and even musical theatre. From dance parties, to concerts, to cabaret acts, workshops and a community dinner, The Accordion Noir Festival is Vancouver's chance to be swept away by the deliciously edgy and deliriously sexy world of 'noir' accordion.
