June Beach Bomber with: Miss Virgina Rose and her Skanks, One Kingdom.

Miss Virginia Rose has had 6 strings or black and white keys beneath her fingers since the age of 8. Starting her song writing as a teen she was able to craft her life challenges into songs that made people perk up, understand joy to pain and connect with someone who wasn't just a pretty face with a pretty voice. With years of practice under her belt, her vocal talent progressed to a level of strength that empowered her to develop her solo act including guitar, keys, percussion/beat boxing and her loop pedal.

Her solo act grew in Vancouver so quickly that it was a natural progression to find a full band to accompany her in larger venues for a bigger party. Enter "the Skanks". Virginia's folk/pop-soul/hop adapted to involve the original guitar stylings of Jesse Bentley, the strong, focused bass lines of Chris Chow and the fierce pounding back bone of Brad Fox on the kit. Now with the full band their love of dance reggae, rock pop, and even beach blues have been added to the bigger and better set list. Miss Virginia Rose and her Skanks bring nothing but a good time and a packed dance floor.
