“I place Diamond Head at the forefront of the best of the best”
- Dave Mustaine

The Invisible Orange Productions is proud to announce one of the most legendary bands in the history of Heavy Metal, Diamond Head will be co-headlining the Rickshaw Theatre with fellow NWOBHMers Raven on Tuesday October 8th, 2013.

Synonymous with Iron Maiden, Def Leppard and Saxon, Diamond Head’s songs were first made popular in North America by Metallica. “We’re a combination of the two heads, Diamond Head and Motorhead. The epic feel is definitely from Diamond Head, while the simplicity came from Motorhead” says Metallica frontman James Hetfield. Writing heavy metal anthems such as “Helpless”, “It’s Electric”, “The Prince” and of course “Am I Evil” founding member Brian Tatler is quoted as saying “The songwriting was always one of my favourite parts of being in a band – the actual creative spark, when you both look at each other and laugh, like, that’s it!”

As a special treat, Raven will share the Rickshaw stage with them. Although Raven were a NWOBHM band and seen as highly influential to both speed and thrash metal they commonly referred to themselves as "Athletic Rock!."
