Marsha, MG Graveyard, Maxwell Blacks, Downstairs Mixup

Thu. April 4th 2013 8:30pm Railway Club (No Minors) 8:30pm
$7 at the door only.
MG Graveyard: A four piece funky band with a southern rock feel.
Marsha: Your Classic powerhouse trio. Think Jack White and Jimmy Page love child. Raised to worship the sounds of Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, The Cult, and Muddy Waters, these three young musicians came together to form their dream band. Combining the sounds of their childhood influences with influential modern rock bands such as The White Stripes, The Black Keys, Muse, Death Cab For Cutie, The Dead Weather, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers ,and many more, Marsha has developed its own individual yet, familiar sound. Ranging from heavily distorted blues riffs based off of instinctual playing, all the way to melodic, highly composed rock, and acoustic indie based folk riffs, Marsha’s influences shine through in a multitude of areas. The lovable mixture of familiar blues driven rock guitar, heavy bass lines, and loud uncontrollable drumming gives this band their individuality. Entertaining, loud, and catchy, Marsha represents the need for the revival of classic rock.
