STATE OF ANOMIE offers a modern sound to the world of hard-rockers and headbangers alike. Coming in strong and loud straight out of the gate, State of Anomie are explosive on stage with effect-heavy psychedelia. http://www.facebook.com/stateofanomie

HUNGER CITY - Earning praise as one of Vancouver's most exciting new groups, the 6-piece Hunger City is an outfit that's proud to assert its own individuality. Drawing influence from each of its member's starkly varied backgrounds in blues, punk, indie, metal and pop, Hunger City molds its multi-faceted approach into a singularly idiosyncratic animal that vibrantly recalls the '60s, '90s and beyond with raw energy and engaging performances. http://www.facebook.com/HungerCity

COLOURSURROUND - Formed by three strung-out corporate dudes in suits who desperately needed an outlet, Coloursurround creates escapist music inspired by otherworldly bands such as Pink Floyd, Stone Roses, My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins, Dandy Warhols, Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. http://www.myspace.com/thecoloursurround

ANDREW CARTER - After a four year stint as songwriter and frontman of Vancouver-based indie act WAY TO GO EINSTEIN, Andrew Carter’s new solo tracks reveal a more hopeful element. Influenced by the likes of PJ Harvey’s ‘Let England Shake’, the new songs move away from the epic soundscapes of Einstein to a more simple production with clean guitars, piano and elements of experimentation. http://soundcloud.com/waytogoeinstein

A four piece from Vancouver combining melodic pop hooks in an ethereal soundscape, with dreamy yet poignant vocals. If Johnny Marr had a bigger pedal board, this might be what The Smith's would have sounded like. more info
