Junebugs (Pop Folk)

The Junebugs are a Vancouver-based pop-folk trio currently taking the central north side of Gastown by storm. This versatile group emits an impressive sound, alternating between piano, mandolin, guitar, banjo, and agida. Their songs range from turn-of-the-century traditional to lively hip-hop covers. Two Towns (Desert Rock)

Formed in Vancouver in the spring of 2011, Two Towns has two members stemming from the Vancouver folk-rock band Adelaide. Joined by another brother to make a trio, Two Towns have been said to have desert-rock-like qualities, while still letting garage/folk influences infuse their music. more info
