The HEAVIES 20th Birthday Celebration! It's been 20 years since a teenage Heavies forged their unique filet of fuzztones and farfisas with a trademark garage surf sound that's equal parts Ventures, Sonics and Mersey Beat. They earned significant notoriety for their high energy live shows at many of Vancouver's long-forgotten dives. Though MIA and sorely missed for the better part of 15 years, they'll be busting out the Mosrites to celebrate their 20th birthday in style! http//

The MILK PIPES - Sounding like a ’63 Impala comin’ sideways around a corner on two wheels, The Milk Pipes always drop the hammer on their original tunes with a joyful and reckless abandon. Tube amps and classic guitars slash against the solid punch of a rhythm section born to serve the song while keys and ukes underpin the whole cacophony with delicious counter melodies. http//

NOTHING TO LOSE - With very little planned and no fear of the crowd this funky quartet takes command at every show, laying down anything from funk to rock to blues all made up in front of your eyes... there's Nothing To Lose, so come and check it out! http//

The TRACK ARROWS - In the early 20th Century, the traqueros laid down shiny, steel tracks for the fledgling American railway system. In the early 21st Century, The Track Arrows honour these blue-collar heroes by laying down shiny, rail-inspired musical tracks for the flourishing Vancouver music scene. It is hard, dirty, and sometimes dangerous work that requires strong harmonizing and iron-clad rhythm. http//
