With a whole summer of parties ahead, spring can't die off soon enough. Come dance it into the afterlife with 5 killer bands:

DEAD GHOSTS//KILLING TIME QUARTET//MALCOLM & THE MOONLIGHT//THE FIGHT//BEEKEEPER

*DEAD GHOSTS – (Surf/Garage) Just resurrected from this year’s South by Southwest, Dead Ghosts brings enough stage energy to wake the dead! http://www.myspace.com/thedeadghosts
...
*KILLING TIME QUARTET (Audiovisual danceparty)- If you take a Nintendo power glove, turntables, live drums, and the messed-up visual art and put it all in a blender and drank you would die, but this freak-show makes the dancefloor come alive. http://soundcloud.com/killingtimequartet

*MALCOLM AND THE MOONLIGHT – (Post-retro) Influenced by ghosts of music past, yet they're one of Vancouver’s freshest and liveliest up-and-coming bands. http://malcolmandthemoonlight.bandcamp.com/

*THE FIGHT – (rock/roll/soul ) From Edmonton, Alberta: this classic four-piece band fights to the death. http://thefight.bandcamp.com/

*BEEKEEPER – (Danceable indie- rock) Their live show is quirky, unpredictable, and musically satisfying. It is not rare for their sets to end with the entire audience dancing on stage. http://www.bkpr.ca/

Pay your respects with $8 cover before 11 and $3.75 beers for eternity!

Dead Ghosts (Lo-Fi Garage Punk)

Ex-members of The Trap Doors, Ladies Night, Green Hour, etc. more info

beekeeper (rockin' poppin' laughin' good times!)

beekeeper is an indie post-pop power trio from Vancouver. We play danceable, singable, thinkable tunes. We meld dissonance and odd time signatures with beautiful pop hooks and male/female three-part harmonies. Our live show is quirky, unpredictable, and musically satisfying. It is not rare for our sets to end with the entire audience on stage. -... more info

Malcolm & the Moonlight (Rock 'n' Roll)

other sites: myspace
Malcolm and the Moonlight is a throwback to the golden era of rock'n'roll's past, when 4 out of 5 doctors recommended Lucky Strikes over Marlboro. When a typical Saturday night was spent at the soda fountain. When the jingle-jangle chords of Chuck Berry blasted in mono through a '57 Chevrolet, while new lovers climbed into the back seat. more info
