The music of the Big Easy is alive and well thanks to Preservation Hall Jazz Band. With a fifty year reputation and an ability to pack concert halls worldwide, it’s clear: New Orleans jazz – and this band in particular – is timeless. But they’re not standing still. Today this legendary band is a multigenerational mix, recruiting younger players to expand its repertoire for a fresh sound that pleases new jazz fans and traditional jazz aficionados alike.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band

Named after the most revered musical landmark in New Orleans, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band are torch bearers for New Orleans Jazz, the endlessly joyful music of Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke and Jellyroll Morton.
