DANNY ECHO - Since the formation of Danny Echo, the Vancouver music scene has universally embraced the incredible vibe of their rock and rollio presence. With influences drawing from greats like the Rolling Stones, The Who, The Beatles, Radiohead, Oasis, and U2, Danny Echo reverberates with all that is melodic, all that is catchy, and all that is rock and roll. With bucketloads of experience in the music and film industries under their belts, they've taken their songwriting, recordings, and live shows to the next level, with smoke machines, projectors, smoking guitars and fire extinguishers (?!!) enhancing the visual assault of their gigs. Their catchy tunes have been implanted in a number of TV shows and flicks in recent years, including Cold Squad, Just Cause, Show Me Yours, Zed CBC, MuchMusic, and Saint Monica. http://www.dannyecho.com

CINDERPOP play inventive, harmony-drenched, guitar-driven songs that range from orch-pop and space rock to bouncy Beatlesque powerpop. Featuring alumni of The Salteens, Moev & SK Robot, their eclectic sound combines free-floating vocals with dreamy melodies and pulsing guitars to great effect. Having performed with artists such as Stereolab and Sloan, Cinderpop are taking things further and farther out with their new album "A Lesson In Science", which will be debuted live this special evening. "Cinderpop mines the orch-pop territory and makes it sound new, fresh. Kinda like The Left Banke meets The Zombies with XTC... It's all wickedly cool!" -- Soul Shine Magazine http://www.cinderpop.com

The OUTLIERS sound is best described as a democratic roar, an eclectic offering from five musicians with often competing styles and influences from the past thirty years ranging from The Clash to The White Stripes. Ultimately, the band's diversity forms a cohesive and modern sound -- one that wagers its success and credibility on their common objective to redefine rock n' roll. http://www.myspace.com/theoutliers

ARCTIC - Haunting, moody and hypnotic, ARCTIC conjures up chilly acoustic northern landscapes and intensely rich, layered space rock that's been described as "acoustic trance", "psychedelic folk" and "Metric meets Neil Young". Always seeking contrast, ARCTIC is never exactly the same from one show to the next, combining diverse influences in unexpected ways: progressive rock, industrial rock and jazz influences merge with ambient textures and acoustic melodies to create a fresh, unconventional and intriguing sound. http://www.projectarctic.com

Danny Echo (VanPop)

With life spinning out of control on tour in the UK as "The Ryecatchers", Danny and Mark decided it was time for a change... Danny reluctantly agreed, phoned Mark, and formed Danny Echo i... more info

Cinderpop (indie pop)

One of Vancouver's most melodic and rhapsodic alternative pop bands, Cinderpop released their latest album, "Manic Sparkles" to critical acclaim for the summer of 2012. Cinderpop has 3 albums released before this including the Verge Album of the Year Nominee, "A Lesson in Science." more info

ARCTIC (Acoustic Looping POP)

ARCTIC began as a solo expedition from the North, but has expanded into a cross-Canadian adventure. The project emerged from frontman Marcus Martin's desire to never, ever be in another band again. After a childhood spent on the land in the isolated Northwest Territories of Canada, the guitarist travelled to the metropolis of Toronto and became ... more info
