Shakespeare’s Songbook: The Newberry Consort

Ellen Hargis and William Hite of the Newberry Consort will perform songs from Shakespeare’s plays — including “When griping Grief” from Romeo and Juliet,“Full Fathom Five” from The Tempest, and “O Mistress Mine” from Twelfth Night. These songs are complemented by David Douglass's divisions on dance tunes, and a set of cittern solos played by Paul O’Dette.
