Linda McRae featuring Nova Devonie and Stephen Nikleva with Special Guests: Headwater & Howard Rix and The Lucky Stars
From her early days with Spirit of the West through numerous alternative country amalgams, Linda McRae is beyond comparison in her home and native land. Her inspired journey continues with her latest Black Hen release, “Carve It To The Heart” and her recent move to Nashville to pursue her burgeoning songwriting career.Join Linda McRae and fellow band mates Nova Devonie on accordion and vocals (Ranch Romance, Jo Miller & the Burly Roughnecks, Miles & Karina) and Stephen Nikleva on guitars and mandolin (Ray Condo, Sarah McLachlan, Sandy Scofield) and Marc L’esperance on fiddle and percussion (Pleasure Suit, Ghettoblaster, Conrad, The Highballs) for her triumphant return to Canada and a rare opportunity to see Linda and the band in action.
Howard Rix (lead singer) extraordinaire is the man in control of his Lucky Stars at the Railway Club April 11th. His veteran line-up consists of some of the finest root players this city has: Jimmy Roy (steel guitar) Steve Taylor (drum) Stephen Nikleva (lead guitar and Joanie Kepler. (acoustic bass)
