Amos Lee is one lucky dude. Since embarking on a music career, the former Philadelphia schoolteacher has been fortunate enough to play with some of his heroes. He’s opened for Bob Dylan, Merle Haggard and John Prine.

After spending the better part of the last three years on the road with his band, Amos released his second album, Supply and Demand, late last year. Another collection of his impeccable songs, which are best described as folk and soul with a blues twist, the disc follows up his well-received 2005 debut.

"I enjoy the unplanned things that happen in the studio," says Amos Lee. "The shapes that things take, the manipulation of sounds—it's a learning process for me.
