The visual and sonic voodoo of the Yard Dogs Road Show began humbly, in 1998 as a three-piece jug band performing in roadhouses and dancehalls up and down the West Coast. It wasn’t until 2005 that the act, expanded to 13, went on its first national tour, selling out several of its shows and returning for a triumphant hometown concert at San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall. With its love of adventure and its soulful abandon, this wicked and mobile traveling cabaret act—which has collaborated with Teatro Zinzanni, Lucas Films, and Cirque Du Soleil--has amazed audiences all over the world.
