Jim Byrnes (Blues)

A local legend in both music and television, blues guitarist and vocalist Jim Byrnes is one of Vancouver’s most respected and beloved entertainers. With the release of Fresh Horses (Black Hen Music) in 2004, a fantastic collaboration between Jim and well-known ‘strang-sters’ Steve Dawson and Jesse Zubot was born. Jazzberry Ram

After an extended hiatus the Ram is back in action, merrily blending piano-'n'-bass funk, jazz & ska into ass-kicking good-time-fueled party music! The reunited group effortlessly span genres, with edgy pure pop ska/rock songs and hip-hop and funk influenced tracks crafted with timeless hooks, melodies, hair-raising harmonies and superior musicians... more info

If spygirl were an outfit, you'd look geek-slick, full in all the right places and your ass would look hot. more info

Sarah Wheeler

I'm not sure, she can fill this in. more info

Robin Younge (Emo (Very original))

I am 25 and have been playing for 10 years. I write emo music with large guitars. Finishing CD. Looking to start a working band. Intrested in working hard to become noticed. more info

Black Hen Music proudly presents the new album from multi Juno Award-winner Steve Dawson, “We Belong to the Gold Coast”. Steve has evolved into a musical chameleon, whether appearing with his group Zubot and Dawson, the avant-folk quartet The Great Uncles of the Revolution, blues legend Jim Byrnes, performing his own solo shows, or producin... more info
