Mouthful of Daisy was born in the spring of 2005 with the merging of four unique musical talents. While the band may seem like the usual four-piece, MOD is anything but. The combination of catchy guitar riffs, smooth bass lines, relentlessly driving beats, and powerful female vocals gives Mouthful of Daisy its distinctive, alt/indie sound.

In the winter of 2005, Mouthful of Daisy took that sound into the studio to record its first EP “Zero”. Since that initial recording MOD has gone on to release three more albums. Their self produced LP "1st Place Winner" in 2007. "Twice Renewed", which was recorded and produced by Anthony Santo, VP of Chamberlain Records, in 2011 at the Westfall Recording Company in New York. Released on March 2, 2012, “Twice Renewed” established Mouthful of Daisy as a band refreshingly unique in its musical approach.

Armed with a boatload of positive reviews from their latest album and subsequent shows the band had caught the attention Of Tomas Costanza (Hollywood Undead, Blues Traveler, Clinton Sparks), producer and CEO of Killingsworth Company in Los Angeles. MOD headed down to sunny California and worked on what would soon turn out to be their biggest and best release yet. The songs from “Nomads' Nation”, which were released this year, have found their way onto many a radio station across Canada and in the U.S.

Recently, along with filming a music video for the first single released from “Nomads’ Nation”, the band has been ultra busy playing as many shows as they can get their hands on. The festival circuit is in Mouthful of Daisy’s future this summer and along the way writing will continue to progress towards the making of more mouth watering songs for our ever growing loyal and dedicated fan base.
