Our mandate is in support of the Live Music Community and as such we offer discounted rates that apply strictly to Live Music Events. Posters appear directly beneath their corresponding show listings and run in the rotating ad frame, creating advance hype.

Live Music Listings ad space
- This is fixed space within our Live Music listings area, on the home page of the site. The area is set aside strictly for Event Advertising.
- These ads appear directly below their corresponding event listings which provide far more extensive details on the show than a graphic ad alone ever can. Information most often includes artist bio's, logo's, website links, maps to venues, band rosters, and audio shortcuts - and almost all this info already resides on the site.
- Event listings are generally shown in order of date and may be viewed by scrolling ahead or various searches. As the date of the event approaches, the ad will move to the top where it becomes constantly visible on the main page of the site and guaranteed to be seen by virtually every visitor.
- The dimensions of this space fit ads up to 280 x 480 pixels (6"x4")
- In an effort to keep our advertising affordable to independent musicians and businesses who sustain our live music community, we offer up this space for Live Music Event Advertising only at a flat rate of just $20. This is exceptional value, as ads currently placed 1 week in advance are seen an average of 8,000 times. That's just $20 for a $80 value!
Rotating Ad Panel space
- The 2nd advertising area currently available is in our Rotating Ad Panel, sometimes referred to as our Info Panel, found just to the right of our show listings and directories.
- These ads may be graphic, html or even flash animation, and are shown just once per viewer, per visit for a duration of 30 seconds. (Custom ad design is also available.)
- We offer click-through advertising for business ads in this area at no additional cost. This means that these ads can carry a user through to your own website, or open to an e-mail window poised to send directly to you. It can even open to a custom built page containing further information.
* Event ads are automatically set up to "click through" to detailed event information as outlined in "Listings Ad Space" section above.- Ads here may include Event advertising, Product advertising, Service advertising and much more -- use your imagination!
- Info in this panel can be targeted to specific demographics based on the genres of music the viewer has custom selected.
- The dimensions of this space fit ads up to 280 x 480 pixels (6"x4") or even taller.
- Our custom ad-throttling system will spread your ad views out evenly from the day you start your ad campaign, to the day of the event or the day you wish to end your ad run.
- This space is offered at a rate of just $.01 (one penny) per view. That's 1,000 views for only $10
Self-Serve Advertising - Event Advertising you control yourself
* This an optional feature. You may choose to e-mail your ads to us, or give us a copy on disk, so that we can handle all the technical details for you.
LiveMusicVancouver.com features a revolutionary ad system, which puts control of how much or little your Event Ad runs, in your own hands. Here's how it works:
- After purchasing advertising credit, the amount is placed into your LiveMusicVancouver user account.
- You log into your account, load your own event ads into the system, and decide how much exposure you want to give them by assigning whatever amount of credit you wish to each separate ad.
- After we approve the show listings the ads to go live to the site.
- Each time you run an ad, credit is deducted from your LiveMusicVancouver user account.
- All of this is done through your web browser and requires no special technical knowledge
Payment Options
There are several payment options to choose from:
- Interac Email Money Transfer If you have online banking that supports Interac Email Money Transfers then simply use that feature to transfer payment to the email of your billing contact (listed below). A receipt will be prepared and, unless otherwise specified, credit will be deposited into the sender's LiveMusicVancouver user account.
- Mail You can simply mail a cheque to us. Please call or e-mail us, specifying the amount of credit you wish to purchase & your contact info, so that we can prepare an invoice showing our mailing address, and anticipate your payment. Please make the cheque out directly to The Indivision Network, or to your billing contact (listed below).
- Paypal You can pay instantly online with a credit card or your paypal account. Please call or e-mail us specifying amount of credit you wish to purchase & your contact info so that we can prepare an invoice making this payment option available to you.
- Custom Arrangement Feel free to contact us to make an alternate payment arrangement which may be more convenient for you.
